Religion:

Our Faith, God’s Great Gift (Our Holy Faith Series). Study of a saint.

Phonics:

It is recommended that students who are having difficulty with reading and phonics order the Professor Phonics supplemental packet. See shipping list for complete list of books included.

Reading:

Reading skill development and reading comprehension: Catholic Cathedral Readers.

​

Mathematics:

Saxon Math 65. Efficient approach to math with daily review and practice of every concept already learned. Arithmetic Skills, optional math course for fourth grade through the seventh grade. Course focuses on arithmetic computation and problem solving (Amsco text).

​

English:

Catholic Voyages in English series. Grammar and composition. Quarterly book reports.

​

Spelling:

Selected words from sixth-grade texts (our own Catholic materials).

​

Science:

Introduction to biology, earth science, the universe, physical science (Scott Foresman).

​

Social Studies:

Catholic texts: Old World Heritage (history) and Europe and Asia (geography).

​

Penmanship:

Instruction in legible handwriting; Catholic series.
